A Photo Session at the Jersey Shore?!Yes Please! I don’t know what it is about the Jersey Shore, but there is just something so special about it. Does it have the most beautiful beaches with the clearest waters, softest sand, and best weather? No, not really. But there is still something magical about it. It just gives me a special feeling every time i’m there…maybe it’s memories of my childhood, or just the sounds and smells, but I love spending time at the Jersey Shore. That’s why I was beyond excited to have a photo session there during my trip back home in May.
You may recognise these guys, although it’s been a few years since they’ve been in front of my camera. They took part in 2 of my Christmas Mini-Sessions while they were living over here in Munich. What a small world that they are from NJ as well..in fact, I even saw them once on my flight back home for the holidays :) When Mom heard I was going to be in NJ she sent me a message about doing a session back home…this time, with a new addition! They were going to be in Ocean City staying where Bronwyn’s parents have a house, and I was planning on spending a day on a beach nearby anyway, so we met up later on in the evening.
I can’t believe how big this guys are! And how handsome! These boys certainly kept me on my toes though, but I like that..it keeps things interesting :) I still giggle over the fact that after the first photo I took one of the boys asked ‘Was that the last one?!’ And comments like ‘Do it for the ice cream!’ Or how they were covered in oil after about 5 minutes into the session lol. It’s things like that that keep my job interesting and actually make me love my job even more :)
Looking at these photos makes me really miss the shore..there is no place like it!
