Wow it’s been quiet on the blog! I’m in the US visiting family and getting ready to shoot my first US wedding this week, so blog time has been scarce! Not to mention that I have to re-adjust to working on a laptop…I really miss my huge monitor lol.
Now that I have a few hours of downtime I can finally share this awesome family photo session I had a few weeks ago! The Meiers are originally from Ohio but have spent the past few year living in Munich. Unfortunately, their time in Germany is almost up and soon they’ll be heading back home. They live right by Schloss Nymphenburg so they spend a lot of time there walking through the beautiful Schlossgarten, so it made perfect sense to have their session there on familiar and meaningful, not to mention gorgeous, grounds!
We had a great time walking along the various paths, over bridges, around lakes, etc. We even managed to get photobombed a few times by some curious ducks :) We finished the session just in the nick of time because it started to rain…the plus side of that is that we were pretty much the only ones around :) The kids did awesome throughout the whole session, so well behaved and patient, and they even toughed it out a few minutes longer than mom & dad so we can get some shots of them in their Lederhosen & Dirndl…how adorable is that?! I’m not sure there is much cuter than kids in Tracht :)
