What better way to start wedding season 2017 than with my very own cousin’s wedding?! Not only was it a beautiful day from start to finish, but it was so great getting to see some of my family who I haven’t seen in over 10 years!
Checking the weather forecast 10x a day for the week leading up to the wedding it was pretty clear that we’d have a cold rainy day, but Ryan & Theresa didn’t let it ruin their day one bit!
They had a beautiful ceremony at the St. Aloysios church in Caldwell, after which the bridal party and I hopped in the party bus and made our way to the reception location – Il Tulipano in Cedar Grove, NJ. After everyone had a chance to freshen up a bit we had some time for bridal party photos. Since the rain didn’t let up all day we couldn’t really go outside for the photos, but we found some cool spots inside. And, Il Tulipano just finished adding on a covered deck that we were able to use so we could still get some nice natural light photos while staying dry :)
Time flew as it usually does, and before we knew it the guests were starting to pour in, ready for cocktail hour. There was so much food I didn’t have time to try much of it but they had everything from shrimp to pizza to a pig roast.
After the cocktail hour we went upstairs to the beautiful ball room where the rest of the reception would take place. Once the bridal party made their grand entrance, Ryan & Theresa kicked off the party with their first dance and then the parent dances. The dance floor was busy the whole night, with people only taking breaks for a trip to the bar or trying the amazing dessert buffet after dinner.
It was such an honor to be able to document this amazing day for my cousin and his beautiful bride! Congratulations again to both of you and welcome to the family Theresa! Love you guys!!
And I also want to give a shout out to Joe from Kamp Weddings for second shooting for me! He got so many amazing shots!
